Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Wualy, a personal budgeting and financial-management service operated by RougeHoneybee Inc. ("Wualy", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Wualy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Wualy. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

2. The service

Wualy helps you track spending, set budgets and goals, and see your net worth. You can add transactions by importing statement files, or by connecting a bank account through our third-party providers Plaid (United States and Canada) and Belvo (Colombia). Connecting an account authorises Wualy and that provider to retrieve your account and transaction information on your behalf.

Wualy is currently offered as a private beta and may change, break, or be unavailable from time to time.

3. Not financial advice

Wualy provides information and tools, not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Category suggestions, forecasts, and insights are automated estimates and may be wrong. Verify anything important against your bank's own records before relying on it. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.

4. Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
• Notify us promptly at support@wualy.money if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One person per account. Do not share your login.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Access data that is not yours, or connect an account you are not authorised to use;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service;
• Use Wualy to break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• Resell or commercially exploit the service without our written permission.

6. Third-party services

Plaid, Belvo, Google, and other providers have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of a bank connection is also subject to Plaid's or Belvo's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and a provider or your bank may change or discontinue access at any time.

7. Intellectual property

Wualy, its software, and its design are owned by us. You keep ownership of the data you add. You grant us a licence to host, process, and display that data solely to operate the service for you.

8. Termination

You may stop using Wualy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. On termination we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wualy and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or CAD $50.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and update the date above; material changes will be notified by email or in the app. Continuing to use Wualy after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Ontario, Canada have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any non-waivable rights you have under the law of your place of residence.
